This is absolutely amazing. All the way through it, I kept thinking, "Ah, this is something I should mention specifically in my review," and then realised that pretty much the whole story was that.

Barbara and Ian are perfect, Three is even more than perfect -- I can hear his voice in every piece of dialogue -- and the emotions are genuine and not forced. But most of all I think I loved the way you captured the sense of time. It felt like the 1960s, particularly in the way Ian wasn't allowed to stay in the delivery room with Barbara.

Coming in late, but I just had to compliment you on this story. I love stories about their "reentry", and this was a great read. Their lives aren't perfect, and they experience great sadness, but also the great triumphs that we all know their future will bring. Thanks for sharing your story with us.

I loved the Third Doctor's appearance in this story. And the happy ending, after all the problems, was great.
