I can see how the American Union could hurt the U.S. But really only the Mexican portion. Kinda like when they reunited West and East Germany all the East Germans came into the West looking for handouts and acting like a drain on the economy. So that would suck, but I wouldn't have any real issue with Canada and us tag teaming. They're not the wealthiest or most productive country, but for the most part they seem to have their shit together.

It's like the homeless guy with 4 paragraphs written on his cardboard sign. They're not getting through to anyone because you can't tell what they're trying to say. just gotta keep it simple like "State Rights FTW!" or "FEED ME!"
Nothing's ever as simple as I make it out to be. I'm just a very simple man. Perhaps its my personal prejudices, but I just don't think we'd prosper all that much with a country that would end up potentially flooded with people who can't speak the language. Though I suppose that if Mexico were to prosper as much as they potentially could end up prospering, maybe a bunch of the mexicans will move back. I dunno.

Mexicans hate other Mexicans. They leave Mexico to get away from the Mexicans... So your wish to send them home is sadly a pipe dream my good man. The only thing your likes can look forward to is the possibility of a mexican holocaust... white people ARE evil... after all...
