At Last: the Incredibly Strange Story - Part 5 (Last Part!)

Aug 05, 2008 14:35

The story is by me. The hilarious dialogues were composed by Elena_C and my humble self on a stormy night after a generous amount of red wine.

Usual disclaimer: the guys are not ours, nay, they're ACD's, but we love ‘em dearly. H/W slash, eventually - finally, we’re getting there!

WARNING: Smut ensues. It's slash. That means two men are ( Read more... )

Aw, poor, confused Watson. But he got snuggles (and more) at last! Thanks for sharing this final chapter. It made me grin widely :DDD

Your comment truly gives me a myriad of ideas... They're presently all buzzing around my head. Thank you so very much indeed. :o)

Yes, in fact, we do drink quite a lot... I mean, quite often. Erm, yes. And I'm sure we abducted Holmes already more often than he can bear. (See Earl King Case) But, yes, there's always space for another story. Eventually. ;o)

I want her to finish the one she has going now.... Poor Holmesie has been hanging out for his pain meds since the end of March!

Ideas are good. Stories are better and I'm looking forward to more! :-)

Very nice, old sock. Holmes comes off as sufficiently insufferable to make Watson look saint-like, which is just as it should be. And Watson is Watson, again as it should be.

Oh, and to set the record straight, it was nowhere near a "generous" amount of red wine. Imo, "generous" starts upwards of a bottle per person. As I recall, it was two glasses. :-P

Well, two glasses is, as you know, a 'generous amount' for this one here. Eheh.

Anyway, thanks, old sock. It was a real pleasure, as always. ;o)

I do like your Celia. [grin]

And Watson's mounting [no pun intended] senses of mingled incredulity and horror throughout were most amusing indeed. I love his wry narrative tone too - the humour fits perfectly with the setup.

Quite a few comedic points had me laughing out loud, but Holmes's blithe “Shall I get you a glass of warm milk?” about finished me off. XD

Very satisfying - a fun & enjoyable romp! :-D

Thank you kindly.

Indicentally, I liked Celia, too. She seemed to grow on me (no pun intended).

Yes, Holmes is such a sweetheart when it comes to Watty empathy, is he not?

I, too, am wondering very much about that "sinister looking lady". I suspect a conspiracy. Glad it ended happily for everyone, though it would serve Holmes right if just once Watson paid him back for taking him so much for granted.
