Well, I think "hello" was an excellent start. We'll see where it goes from there.

I'm all right, actually. There were...a few rough patches, here and there, to say nothing of the invasion of our office by an acquaintance of Denny's outfitted with an explosive vest but things seem to have arrived at a lull. And yourself?

(Next time--and this isn't intended as a reprimand--I'd appreciate having at least some idea as to which corner of the world you two have chosen as your next stomping ground. If nothing else, it'll make scanning police blotters for news of your doings considerably less time-consuming.)

We -- Caleb and I -- we've both had a bit of an adventure, and lost track of everyone this past year or so (bleeding hell, hadn't realised it'd been nearly a year), but we're both fine. Bit scarred, is all. In the literal sense, though I'm sure in other senses, too. Mostly touch (ha).

(And... and I'm sorry. If you worried. I know I would've worried, and there wasn't but maybe a handful of moments where I hadn't thought about somehow getting hold of someone, but it was really just impossible. So I'm sorry. Really sorry. I've desperately missed familiar company, especially yours.)
