I'm definitely thinking that we're going to see steampunk weapons designed to counter Bending abilities; stuff to douse fires, smash the earth, funnel the air, freeze or boil water, and also stuff just for the restraining Benders quick and efficiently. That's what I'm seeing on that front, and the weapons are going to be highly expensive, hard to build and maintain, and only those trained to use them can do so, but still, you know...

I have to say that is kind of an awesome idea. I was always kind of wondering what non-benders could think up to get the upper hand on benders.

Conversely, what about the idea of benders having technology that enhances their bending, or bending-powered power-armor?

Could be, could be, but the Benders already have an advantage on the non-benders, so I'm not seeing much drive for their power level being raised even higher. At the very least, it seems like the sort of thing that would make the conflict too one-sided, which would be bad for the drama.

I need to watch Justice League again. That show was great (except Epilogue. Epilogue sucked ass).
However, that JL clip reminds me of Sailor Moon more than Avatar (power of love and friendship and all that). XD
