Fresh Start

I finally got a job last February 15. Day after Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day, which may seem like a good portent. I feel like this is a total reboot - I am employed again, and working days rather than nights (and I have weekends free) which gives me some semblance of a normal life. Thanks for the help so far re: the credit card issue Rocky. Do you have any financial programs/websites to recommend? I'm trying to figure out how much I can save/spend safely.

Nothing beats taking out a paper and pen and work on a ledger. Or even Excel. Stuff like Mint.com are interesting, but since we're pretty much offline in the local financial world, it won't help.

We pretty much save what we can :) We never use our credit cards ^^ debit card lang

Medyo hassle sa akin ang debit e - i need to upgrade my gadgets now-ish. :P Or I will go insane if I hear another crazy preacher on the MRT again.

I agree on debit, so you won't spend more than you actually have.
