So the Philippines just got hit with a freak late September typhoon. These ones are almost always nasty. I still remember how terrifying things were when Typhoon Milenyo hit us back in 2006 in roughly the same day of the month. Sorry I wasn't around to respond to your message. No, I haven't been able to contact Kellsye since late last night (early morning for you guys). I am worried sick because she lives close to SM Marikina and thus the river. If you hear any news please let me know ASAP.

I will man. I'm getting word from people in Marikina now. Not all places were equally hit - some are just out of power. The cellphone network is still pretty useless right now, though.
