Last Saturday, Oct. 27, we held New Worlds 5: The 5th Philippine Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention at the Glorietta Activity Center. I went dressed as Peter Petrelli, and as generic Star Trek: The Original Series Science Crewman # 2. :P ( Read more... )

NW5 rocked my socks! It pains me that it was technically my FIRST real convention (Transformed was just a primer) and I agree, I wish there was more going on.

Side note - you seem to have been time-traveling since you said it took place in December...

Aww, thanks. Fun fact: the winner of the Hiro Nakamura impression contest we held... was the only non-Filipino contestant, who happened to be a white American. Comedy gold, I tell you.
