Its still coming and going here, there is supposed to be a storm here tonight so the warm rain will ruin the pretty snow :( But I'm sure it'll be back soon enough - it started halfway through October!
I can't wait for snow. It's been 70 degrees here all week and supposed to be next. =( I have a feeling though, come January, we're going to get hit hard.
I know the Nekster can't wait for snow. I can't wait to drive in it. =P
Dogs in the snow are awesome amounts of fun! Though I dont think I'll be driving in it anytime soon almost everyone in Norway has some sort of small crash their first winter driving, why would you be looking forward to this?!
Gosh I hate you. Need you really brag about all that snow? Realise how jealous I am right now? The only way christmas celebrations can really start is when there is snow, and despite living in Canada, we don't get it until AFTER christmas. Of course each year it gets later and later. And well, I'm fucking pissed to be honest. How the hell do you celebrate christmas when everything is brown/grey outside and no snow? It just doesn't feel right
( ... )
I brought both on my shopping spree (both of course meaning four pairs not two but Im just greedy and hadn't been shopping for a LONG time!) I brought some ugly type wellies that are practical and furry inside :) Then some leather knew high boots (flats) some norwegian type ugg boots (just as expensive :( /sigh) and some proper long snow boots so I should be set for winter... providing that the dog hasn't eaten them by then! There really are some perks to just having cats you know... I think my shoes would prefer that...
believe me there are a lot more perks to having cats besides the fact they don't eat your shoes. But then again in our case, you might have them pee'd on instead. Rosie went threw a phase where she did it to ALL Kurts shoes/boots/slippers, now we have a rack for them so it won't ever be a problem again.
When its minus 45 degrees out and there is a massive snow storm, my kittys are nicely tucked in a curled up ball keeping you warm when your dog just HAS to go to the bathroom or for a walk ;)
Teddy has changed so much! He's so beautiful! I'm excited for Roxi to experience the snow, as a bigger dog. She was a teeny pup last year, so she was shorter than the snow. :) She will be a year old tomorrow! Crazy! Glad you're doing well!
Aww! Happy Birthday to her! Teddy is well into his teenage behaviour now even though he's only around nine months /sigh.
Dogs are SO much fun in the snow, I've got teddy who eats it, and back in England I have Hollie who tries to play fetch with it and gets upset and whiney when it melts in her mouth before she drops it :(
The snows melted away again now thanks to a warm storm passing through :( and Hollie is in England with my parents (I THINK I've decided shes staying there purely because shes a nervy dog and I worry my current situation would unsettle her more than anything :( ) but I'm over for a week or so at Christmas so HOPEFULLY it'll snow then and I'll get some photos!
