Ambulance Sale

Anyone have any info for selling a used Ambulance?
I have run across some auction sites but... Not knowing anything about them Im not sure if they are going to be of any use.

By auction sites, I'm guessing you've included eBay in your search? I've never bought automobiles (or ambulances, for that matter) from eBay but know people who have. Most sellers are happy to provide maintenance records and let you inspect the vehicle before purchase if you're nearby. A lot of the emergency vehicles seem to be sold by brokers, who should have a satisfaction rating on the site.

We need to sell one and have come up dry locally. Not a surprise but not helpful either.

Sorry, my brain was obviously fried. I read that as you were looking to buy an ambulance... therefor you were looking for someone that might be selling one. ::head slap:: I would still look at eBay. They obviously take a percentage of the sale for their fee, but it allows bidders from beyond your region to get in on the action. If you go that route, my suggestion would be LOTS of LARGE photographs -- especially of anything that might questionable.

Try Craigs List or call up a local Apparatus Dealer and see if they buy used.

The company that I work for has sold them to buyers in Mexico, in the past. I'm not sure how they go about finding them, though...
