Wow! That fic left a really strong emotional impression on me and I've never seen a single episode of the show, though now I've got to check out some clips/episodes to see the onscreen Captain/Swan interaction.
I just have to say it felt really vivid to me. One of the things I really enjoy about your writing style, it seems to turn your words into a motion picture in my mind.
