Kvothe sits by the window in his room, paging one-handed through a book. He's more relaxed than he has been, he's even humming quietly to himself as he reads. The door is not quite closed, an unspoken invitation so that any close friends who come looking will know that they will be welcome.

Well, Galadriel might come by, just to say hello, not to talk about the hand thing unless Kvothe brings it up, since Bast said he would.

But she's supposing a little hello can't hurt, and she knocks softly on the door.

"Come in," he calls as he turns the page. "It's open."

Mun: Bast brought it up in the crackplot thread and he agreed, shall he bring it up and we can do this now?

Bast is probably sprawled on the window seat. He's taken to not leaving Kvothe alone too much, even with this new change.

He lifts his head up. "It's Galadriel," in a low voice, in Kvothe's direction. "I haven't spoken with her yet, but if she's dropping by anyway...?"

So Galadriel enters, and smiles calmly to both Kvothe and Bast.

"Good afternoon, to both of you. Is this a bad time to visit?"
