While Danny is interested in a liaison type role, he's got other names in mind for who he'd like to see in the event of an emergency helping him out. After all, if this is bound to be his new home, he ought to have a say in it. He taps the pencil to his palm several times before deciding it's time to pull the trigger -- so to speak.

Lois looks at the paper, pen half chewed in her mouth before smiling. Oh, Jersey.

Clark Kent: Seconded.

There was only one name on that little list that Jack was familiar with off hand so right under Steve McGarrett he wrote a sloppy Seconded.

When Bill saw she'd already been nominated, he took up the pencil with a grin and wrote Seconded next to Shari's name.

It had taken him three years to reach this point but Cable was finally willing to show interest in the Island Council.

And once he had decided that he cared who served on it, there was only ever going to be one name he would nominate, one person who he thought utterly capable in all fields and who he trusted above and beyond all others.

Cable, he wrote in small neat letters.

Frankly, she's surprised that she's seen the list early enough to make suggestions, but it's with a certain satisfaction that she pens a neat list of her own.

Ianto was not expecting much of the elections this year for himself personally, but he always kept an eye on the nominations, for his own amusement.

Which was why he stopped to write seconded next to the names of Ishiah and Helen Magnus.

Pleased to see that the handwriting was not Nikola's own, Alcuin paused at the list to write seconded in neat, curling script next to his name.

Nikola looked at the note, twitching his features into a smirk as he wrote a name down. Ah yes, Helen wouldn't be expecting this:

Now there was an idea that Jack approved o. Alcuin had been around long enough to know the ways of things. He picked up the pencil and quickly jotted down-

Cook doesn't give a shit about politics. He doesn't really give a fuck about most of the island either, to be honest. It sort of runs along in that smooth, puttering way that organizations made up of self-satisfied people do. And that's exactly why he stops for five seconds before the notice and adds his name to the list.

Who knows what'll happen? But it'll be better than nothing.
