You could say that since his plan for wintertime revenge on some of his greatest enemies, such as cold weather and science, Jason had been a little shy of the public eye. And that was really a shame, as he figured the public eye could really use him.
Yeah, he'd get on that soon enough.
Unfortunately, there was work to be done first. Mainly, construction-type work that thankfully, would not end up making him look like the dumbest dumbass to ever ass in front of his IPD boss and numerous hot chicks. The trees here were slight enough, for the most part, that he didn't have a problem taking one down himself and then dragging it to a place where tree could become lumber.
It wasn't high profile like police work, but there was something satisfying as hell about sinking an ax into wood with a loud crack. His shirt had long ago been tossed aside, probably eaten by monkeys or something. Stopping long enough to wipe the sweat from the back of his neck, he looked up as someone blocked his light.
