underneath. Didn't hurt to put a little campaign advertising in there at the same time, too.

Picking up the pencil, Morgan figures the notice can't have been up for long if her name isn't already on it, and writes

a few spaces down from the first name.

It's a no-brainer, really, and it doesn't take me long to write in

right below Shari's name.

Oh, yeah, it was that time of year, wasn't it? I should talk to Zell about who he'd like to nominate. But there were two names that I knew must be put forward, even though I suspected that they themselves would take them off again.

I picked up the pencil.

I thought about nominating Zell, but I thought I'd better ask him first.

Daniel looked at the two names on the list. One he definitely wanted on there and the other he absolutely wasn't going to support at all.

Daniel was fairly sure that Dale had been on most years that he'd been around, if not all, so he scribbled something briefly after Jack's listing.

Abby wasn't really close to Veronica, honestly. They kind of moved in different island circles, as much as there were island circles, which of course there were.

That said, Veronica had always seemed to have a level head and snarky sense of humor in discussions, which really made things a lot easier to discuss, so Abby carefully printed her name on the nomination sheet.

There weren't a whole lot of people River really to be on the council, but she just trusted Veronica in general. Plus, she'd done pretty well so far and the power hadn't gone to her head, so she was happy to second the nominiation.
