Tommy leapt to the futon and bent over the huge cat. He wasn’t sure how he was supposed to go about this, but he could see the healthy red life aura around Chet, and he could hear his little kitty heart pounding

"With what, a bad haircut and garlic bread?" Wallace should perhaps be surprised to have happened upon his old roommate standing in the middle of the jungle looking as though he's gone a round with a tiger, but it is Scott. There's the distinct possibility he actually has gone a round with a tiger.
"You're not staying with me," Wallace adds as he saunters forward from the trees, peering at Scott through a pair of dark sunglasses. "Not that I don't adore your sparkling personality."
Tommy touched at the side of his head and gave a wounded scowl at the "bad haircut" remark. "Umm..." was the best he could vocalize for the moment, so just occupied himself with pulling his trouser leg back down.
"Is this one of those spontaneous survival courses? Leave me in the jungle to fend for myself, type thing?" Tommy gasped with realization. "Did Jody put you up to this?!"
"I know better than to think you could fend for yourself in a genuinely hostile environment," Wallace replies with a considering cant of his head. He definitely doesn't know a Jody, and is fairly certain Scott doesn't, either. "Unless you're not Scott, in which case I apologize. You have the same vacant, perpetually stunned stare going on, it's an easy mistake to make."
He was right, but Tommy couldn't help taking even more offense, until the mistaken identity became apparent and he set about altering his apparent vacant, perpetually stunned expression.
"Err, that's okay. I'm Tommy..." He gave a polite smile and nodded, waiting for the explanation that he expected the guy to have.
Tommy made a noise that he would later deny ever making, and began emptying his pockets, which turned out to only contain his wallet and some odd change.
"That's all I have on me!" Tommy regretted to announce, and sort of wished he hadn't of been robbed of his super strength - though what he would have done with it, Tommy could admit would have been nothing.
"Is this you mugging me, still?" Tommy straightened a little as the weapon was put away, and pointed down at his wallet between them. "Because I could use getting that back..."

"You're an idiot," he pronounced and slipped his gun blade back in his belt with a sigh. So much for some excitement.
