James had only been on the island of Tabula Rasa for a short time. Long enough to find out Jessie and Meowth had not beaten him ashore and, in fact, were not even on this island. A fact, he was having a little trouble believing. What he really needed, apart from the rest of his team, was a disguise.

He just happened to be at the compound when a beautiful woman was putting up a notice. James was not like that twerp kid, the one without any eyes, who always hit on the ladies. He preferred to be focused on his job. And Jessie would have killed him if he'd acted like that. Instead he focused on what she'd posted.

"The Catscratch Club!" he read aloud to himself. "I bet Meowth would approve of us working there." In his head, he was having a vision of Meowth.

"Yes, I was," he said, drawing out some of his syllables so he sounded unnecessarily dramatic. "I see that you're in need of a doorman. Well here I am. James, at your service."

He took a dramatic bow and wished that he'd had a rose on hand.

He was very dramatic, in an endearingly silly kind of way, and Saffron suppressed the urge to laugh. "That's great!" she exclaimed, beaming; they'd needed a doorman for a while now. "Would you be willing to take the Monday-Wednesday-Friday shift?"

Claudia stood infront of the bulletin board, her head tilted just slighty as she looked it over. While she didn't exactly want to get a job, she couldn't exactly sit around all day reading old programming books in the rec room either.... Though... A waitress in a club wasn't a bad thing, and it was something she'd done before.

Glancing over at the woman who looked like she was getting ready to leave, Claudia cleared her throat. "Excuse me, do you know anything about this club?"

Saffron turned at the question, giving the girl a friendly smile. "Matter of fact, I do," she replied, and offered a hand. "I'm Helen, the owner. Were you interested in a job?"

"Oh, awesome!" Claudia grinned. How sweet was that?? She reached out, taking Helen's hand and shook it warmly. "I'm Claudia, and yes! I can waitress, I've done it before."

"Oh, that's great, I could really use more good waitresses," Saffron said, her smile immediately brightening. "We're open from eight p.m. to two a.m. Did you have a preference as to the shift?"
