Evey was also planning to forage, though perhaps not on the same scale as Geoffrey clearly was. She wasn't going to be opening every drawer and then some, or at least it was unlikely. She might, she supposed, but she generally knew what she wanted and where it was.

"That's quite alright. Was there something in particular you were wanting?" she asked seriously, since she was willing to help look if there was.

"Something tasty," says Geoffrey, a bit antsy as he continues his rummage around the kitchen. "Something sweet. Something I really shouldn't have would be ideal."

"I think there's a tart in the fridge," she said thoughtfully, and then promptly went to look.

"No, well, sort of. There's one piece. I don't suppose you only want once piece of tart?"

She doubted it, but perhaps so.

"Right now I'd be willing to settle for one lick of tart," says Geoffrey, then reconsiders that entire choice of phrasing. "Okay, that didn't come out quite right."
