For the very first time in a very long time, Daisy is creating something again. Sure, it might not be as world-shattering as the Mona Lisa and it may well not be exactly so tasty as the things a brilliant chef can do and she is no Geoffrey, but she's doing something. It's better than nothing and it's better than being known as the woman who takes ( Read more... )

Daisy's too busy for fruits or waters after it's all through. She collects all the scripts so she can decide what to do with them. She only has one copy in her room and the majority of the rest are out to sea or up in flames, as if letting them exist was doing her a grave misgiving. She keeps them tucked in against her torso like her infants and makes sure that the place is as clean as it was when they arrived.

Evey had been very excited to be involved in another episode. Andrea was quite a fun character in her own slightly neurotic way, and the American accent was a great test of her acting abilities. There hadn't been much in terms of the island theatre recently and it was good that it still remained active in this form.

When the story was over, she collapsed into a chair in the corner with a glass of water. She would be happy to speak to any of her fellow cast members, but not until she'd had something to drink!

"Great job," Eden said, smiling as she gave Evey a little wave. She'd been thoroughly excited herself, not just to take part but to have the chance at a larger role this month. Evey had been in most everything she'd taken part in and she'd come to admire the other girl's talent, though largely at a distance. There was never any call not to tell the others when they did well, though.

Evey put her water down and smiled up at Eden. She didn't know the other woman all that well, but they'd always interacted pleasantly and she respected Eden's acting abilities and willingness to give things a go.

"Thank you!" she replied happily. "You as well. I really think Sarah's arc is getting interesting."

Eden nodded, pleased. "I'm really looking forward to seeing where Daisy goes with this," she agreed. "She's amazing, writing these. I couldn't." It was daunting, stepping into Kate McNab's shoes, and a bit sad considering why, but she was ready to take whatever part came her way.
