She hefted the book up and pulled herself to her feet. She offered him her free hand, the book tucked under her other arm. "I'm Chase."

Besides, he has a more than professional interest in the case. It comes with saving a life. He hopes up on the back of the couch, pulling his knees up to his chest and wrapping his arms around them. "And slitting your wrists is messy. The only things you'll learn are that it hurts and you have a lot more blood than you think you do."

It was still so odd to see Dick like this - or, rather, to think of this man as Dick.
