William saw her slip and could hear the dull thud as she hit the pavement, even from where he was a few yards away. "Oh shit," he said under his breath and ran towards the body on the cement.
It was only when he got within a few feet that he recognized her. "Ophelia..." It was still weird, calling someone that. "Are you okay? That looked like a nasty spill."
Ophelia squeezes her eyes shut, wincing against her motions, before opening them again.
"I did move too soon." It is not an answer, at least not to the question she had been asked but she sits up, muscles in her back spasming slightly as her eyes open once more. "Aye, I am fine."
"Take it easy now..." William placed his hand gently between her shoulder blades and peered at her with concern. Something about Ophelia still set him a little off guard, but any nervousness he might have felt was overpowered by his instinct to take care of the people around him.
