Objectively speaking, her drafting of landscapes and buildings showed a spark of real talent. Her life drawings, on the other hand, could not be classed as anything but abysmal. For as well as she read people and was able to be helpful in parsing their problems, she still could not seem to translate the cues that gave meanings to their actions onto

"Since when are you all arts and crafts though?" he asked curiously.

In truth, she had not seen much of him recently and his presence pleased her greatly. She shifted to permit more casual conversation and did not reach for the poor sketch, though she wished to. "However, since you have asked a question, I suppose I ought at least answer it first, no?" Answering herself, she continued, "I spend a good deal of time observing humans, so I thought to try my hand at drawing them."

"And for the record, it takes more than nudity to make me blush," he grinned. "You should ask around more, I'm sure someone around here could give you a hint if you wanna win that bet."

"For the record, it takes more than nudity to make me blush as well," Morgan teased, then tipped her chin to him. "Will you pose for me so I may practice? Perhaps I'll learn more of you while I draw."

As she did not know the young woman and had seen her near the Compound only a few times and only recently, she surmised her to be new. "I am Morgan Le Fay, called simply Morgan. And you?"

Nodding, my mouth pulls into a friendly smile and I say, "Nice to meet you, Morgan. I'm Kate, Kate Bishop."

Gesturing to the space in front of her with a small, serene wave, she answered, "Please, make yourself comfortable. I am trying to learn how to capture what is characteristic about the figures--" People, she corrected herself sternly. "People I am drawing. She looked at...she wasn't entirely sure who that was. "What do you want me to do?"

"Why would you want to draw me?" I asked, sitting next to her. "Is it because I'm beautiful? It's because you think I'm beautiful. You can admit it, Morgan." Of course I was teasing her. Part of the fun of teasing was never being quite certain if she would laugh or give me that look I'd first seen in Atlantis.

Her lips quirked, eyes brightening with pleasure in her company. "And, yes, you may take that as confirmation that you're beautiful."

"I'd probably be a terrible subject," she added. "But I bet Dante might sit for you."

The cat drew her attention after and Morgan held out an inquisitive hand. "This will be Dante, I expect?"

"He used to be Lucifer's," she explained, leaving it at that for now. He used to be Lucifer's and now he belonged to her or he'd picked her, she wasn't sure which was correct.

"He's a beautiful animal." Pursing her lips, she glanced up to study Jill. "Has Lucifer gone, then?" They had not spoken of him much but she knew that Jill had been close with the man.
