Take me out with the crowd.

Roger's not very happy and not trying very hard to hide it--he's been forbidden supper until he cleans himself up, which is annoying enough, considering that he'd been forced to wash up yesterday, but now he's been sent to this strange building with no idea where the baths are. A fresh shirt gripped in his hand, he stops in the hall, hearing music. He doubts it'll lead him to the baths, but maybe there will be someone who can direct him at the source.

Or maybe it'll just be that boy from his first day, who broke his spear. He scowls at him, debating whether to ask him for help or walk back out.

It was clear that someone had entered the room; Jonas had heard the slightly sticky sound of bare feet against the floor. He looked up, hoping it wasn't Cain. He didn't want to have to explain what he was doing crouched, looking under furniture.

Instead, it was someone worse. Seeing the boy, the angry boy who once had a spear, Jonas immediately wished it had been Cain who came in.

"Go away," Jonas told him firmly, not bothering with manners in the slightest.

He crosses his arms, shirt hanging from the one hand. "I don't know my way around here," he announces, giving himself an excuse to defy the boy.

"Unless you're looking for this room, you're not in the right place." His tone was cold and halfway through speaking, he returned to checking for his bat. Jonas realized he was being rude to a boy who could beat him if he wanted, but the fact that he knew his way around the Compound and the savage boy didn't, made him feel like he had the advantage.
