Sandor heard singing and winced, first at the sound, and then at the words as he made them out. Some people were too damned exuberant for anyone's good. He started toward the sound, determined to give whoever it was the firm suggestion they should be on their way, but stopped with a roll of his eyes when he saw who it was. "You again," he observed gruffly. "Guess living life to the fullest also means living it to the loudest, huh."

Glen looked over his shoulder and grunted, "Yes, me again. And you're a sight for sore eyes aren't you?" Glen returned in the same tone that Sandor had addressed him. After a minute he smiled and chuckled, meaning well. "I've a fine sweet tenor, don't let your ears deceive you." There. He'd made fun of the man and made fun of himself. It was all very civilized.

"Well if your eyes weren't sore before, I bet they are now," Sandor said with a smirk. He hadn't been bluffing about the song being painful, but it wasn't half bad having someone besides Arya Stark to trade mockery with. "So which was it, crows or wolves that raised you to sing like that?" he added, looping Stranger's reins around a low branch and coming to sit on a nearby rock.

Glen chuckled, appreciating a man who could take a joke, even at his own expense, and hand it right back. "Oh certainly neither. Crows and wolves are clever but not very generous creatures. And besides, do I not sing sweeter than either?" Glen's expression dared Sandor to contradict him, invited it in fact.
