Logan hasn't slept right in months, maybe he never has, but I can't quite blame it all on him anyway. We both wake up in the night now. Afraid we might jostle his cast. Afraid we might remember something in our sleep, in the dark, that's best left buried. I wake up, or maybe Logan was awake first, but he's best left in his bed. Maybe it's unfair, leaving him like that, but I know I'll just lie there and drive him crazy all damn night, so I go out for air, and just like always, that leads me here...
There's a lump just by the water and Max goes to investigate first, sniffing in tighter circle's 'til he decides its safe to... cuddle right the fuck up to it. Nice.

"Not exactly true... Think they're brewing beer, somewhere down in the caves... And I already provided you with movies, and you've to that tiny car of yours," I tease, voice tight around another lungful of smoke, "Grows out behind the compound. We're all fuckin' trapped here, man, how you figure most of us are so goddamn mellow?"
"Sort of figured it was some special koolaid," Dean admitted. Or, if the noises coming from the huts, bushes, and treehouses he'd passed were any indication, "And a hell of a lot of sex."

"I don't anticipate any problems on that front," he said, slipping an arm beneath his head to pillow it.
