"We tried everything. She didn't respond." Boomer said, though even then, Hera was calming, her cries silencing as her mother picked her up. From the other side of the crib, Boomer frowned, arms stiffly at her sides. This didn't make sense.

"Sharon," said Kara, her hand already on the other woman's shoulder. "Gods, what happened to you? Is it the heat?" Her mouth remained open to taunt the ex-cylon's weak constitution, but maybe that should wait until Sharon was on her feet.

Boomer recognized the voice right away, though she hadn't heard it in a long time. She was pretty sure that Starbuck had made it off of New Caprica, but other than that, she really hadn't heard much.

She shrugged Starbuck off, scowling as she stood, a little wobbly on her feet.

"What happened?" She asked, "Where's Hera?"

Probably somewhere where the cylons couldn't get to her.

Kara's eyes widened, her stomach lurching like it hadn't done since she was pregnant with Calliope. "What do you mean? Was she with you when you passed out?"

Leaving Sharon's side, Kara walked swiftly down the hall, ducking her head into each room as she passed. "Hera? C'mon, kid...mama's okay now."

Sharon heard a very familiar voice outside the kitchen. Familiar, because it was hers. Or at least she could have sworn it was. Suspicious, Sharon looked out the door to see who was around.

And there it was, a figure she had seen so many times she knew it by heart, and not only because it was also her own.

"Sister?" she said, hanging onto the doorframe.

She didn't know how much time had passed, or where she even was now. Wherever Sharon and Caprica had gone, they'd obviously dragged her along for the ride while she was out.

"I figured you'd be back to Galactica by now," Boomer said, head still pounding as she forced herself to stand.

"What?" Sharon asked faintly, and then remembered, of course, this Eight must have just arrived.

"I haven't been on Galactica in a long time," she started to explain, and made her way down the hallway toward the other Eight, all the while trying to piece together what she'd just said. The Eight knew which Eight she was, had expected her to be. Because the only other Eight that had been on Galactica was Boomer, and since Boomer was a sleeper agent she wouldn't have left Galactica to go back to it. "What happened to you?"

"You should know," Boomer said, "It was your fault." She didn't know what Sharon meant about not having been on Galactica in a long time; as far as Boomer knew, it hadn't been long at all since she'd shown up to steal the child back.

"So where are we?"

Leoben didn't really think about saying much of anything initially as he helped Sharon to her feet, though he did frown a bit because he hadn't thought it was that hot compared to every other day on the island. A lot of people seemed to be getting sick though. "Hey. Are you all right?"

"I'm fine." Boomer said, shrugging him off, though the room was almost spinning. Frak, she didn't even know where she was.

"What happened? Did they get away with Hera?"

"Did who get Hera?" Last time he'd checked, Kara had been watching her, not Sharon. He thought about trying to steady her, but resisted the impulse. "She's fine. We were watching her for you, remember?"

"Sharon." She said, barely keeping the annoyance out of her voice. "The one on Galactica." Maybe no one else knew about it yet.
