The "town meeting" concerning Voldemort didn't sit well with Eowyn. Days later, she didn't want to be around anyone for now. She needed to think.

Setting out from the compound with her sword and waterskin, Eowyn traveled through the trees to the small clearing she once used as a practice area. After taking a drink from her waterskin and setting it down, she unsheathed her sword and went through the motions. Back and forth, back and forth until she was going fast and deliberate. Anger coated each swing and stab. Her golden hair fluttered in the breeze with her.

After several minutes, Eowyn breathed heavily and wiped the perspiration from her brow as she sat down against a tree. She set her sword back in the sheath and took a few generous drinks from her waterskin. With her knees bent under the skirt of her dress, Eowyn rested the back of her head against the trunk of the tree.

Moments passed as she listened to the trees softly swaying to the wind's whim. Her eyes closed and she was sound asleep.

[Summary: Eowyn falls asleep after practicing her swordswoman-ship in the jungle. She has a dream that turns into a nightmare. Faramir comes along and sits near here - watches her. General discomfort and perhaps another step in their friendship.]
