It had been a rather simple affair to gather Ysandre's few belongings, and with the assistance of Bill Weasley she was moved out of the Compound and into the Boarding House in short order. The place Jane's husband had built was charming, and Ysandre, though used to much more lavish quarters, found she liked it immensely. She had been informed there ( Read more... )

It wasn't hard to figure out that she wasn't alone anymore, which meant treading more carefully out into the hall. The truth was that Addison was loving the Boarding House. She had space to drag her papers out and privacy in the room and even nature, but not Nature From A Trailer like Derek had been so keen on. When she went out to enjoy her daily 'sitting around', she saw the woman who was moving in.

The noises had been almost annoying at first, but they had slowly settled into being a comfort. "Hey there, new neighbor," Addison greeted pleasantly.

"Good day," Ysandre replied with a smile and an elegant nod of her head. "You must be Addison Montgomery. I am Queen Ysandre de la Courcel. It is a pleasure to meet you, madame Doctor."

"Just Addison works for me," she promised, even if the use of her professional moniker did make her smile widely. After all that school, she'd earned it, she figured. "And you're...wow, a Queen? Huh. They definitely didn't offer that career in college."

"Very well, Addison," she replied. "And yes, I am queen of Terre d'Ange, though most I have encountered here know the country as France. I daresay my title is only truly important to those here who are from my country, however," she said, with a small smile.

John missed his gun. This island was a strange place indeed, not where he intended to be. Surely he could find the little runt who had taken his gun.

Booth found himself wandering the island, not curiously as that would attract attention. Instead, he wandered.

"Oh. Hello Miss..." Booth smiled as he came upon a woman. A stunning, stunning woman.

"Good day to you, messire," she replied, with a friendly smile. He did not look familiar, and she wondered if he was perhaps new to the island.

Her voice moved and set in on John's bones. It warmed him. Reacquainting yourself with sexual attraction was a great feeling. He smiled at her manners and stepped forward to kiss her hand, not being smarmy but polite.

"I thank you for your manners. My name is John. What do I have the pleasure of calling you?"

Ysandre could not help but wonder what sort of ill manners this gentleman typically encountered, if such a greeting moved him to thanks. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, John," she replied, with a graceful inclination of her head. "I am Queen Ysandre de la Courcel."
