He still hasn't been able to kill the bunnies and they follow Jack around all the time, like a swarm of adorable gerbil-ish little rats. Or whatever, something cute and fuzzy and white. Still, he'll get his courage up. Or he'll find someone with courage and then take credit, but the point is, they will be dinner ( Read more... )

"Sign-ups, hmmm?" Saffron said, coming up behind Jack as she read his notice. As far as she was concerned, she'd already given him a really good reason to seat her instead of someone else.

Jack glances over his shoulder on his walk away from the board, seeing as he has an appointment with his face and a pillow and he glances at her. "What? Yeah, just...write your name," he says dismissively. "I need to perfect the menu, but it'll go like, seven courses."

Freddy had no fucking idea who Jack Bourdain was, despite the fact he'd just seen the guy put up the sign. He thought he might have seen the guy in the kitchen once or twice in passing, but other than that, he was drawing one hell of a blank. But, he was intrigued, and that was the day after Valentine's Day.

It sounded promising though, if anything. it might turn out to be like one big collective dinner like they usually had, but that was the day after Valentine's Day and it wouldn't hurt to surprise Anita with food he hadn't made for once. Almost be like a real date, even.

With a mental shrug, he signed them both up.

Donald smiled when he saw the sign, quickly adding his own name and Charlie's as well. Jack was a rather good cook, and on a place like this, he wasn't going to miss the opportunity.

A gift. Something to do for Valentine's Day. Something that would be appreciated and hopefully not have to do with any of that rubbish involving cheese toasties. Something that wouldn't involve falling flat on his face like a moron in a desperate bid for everyone to like him.

The Doctor was making up for last year.

He scribbled down his name and Chase's. There'd probably be dessert. He'd heard tell of this Bourdain, after a--

A small ball of fluff hopped down the hallway, and the Doctor figured it was best not to ask.

Fear not, Manda, we can handwave it if need be. He insisted.

Geoffrey doesn't know a lot about Jack Bourdain, other than he's pretty new to the island and he'd served up some pretty good food in that time. And really, he doesn't need to know that much about him. He's never really had a chance to take Duck on a real date, and he's not going to pass up that chance now. As soon as he sees there are still seats available for this fancy dinner, he snatches up the pen and writes in both their names.

Sign up first, ask his husband on a date later.
