It had worked until it was obvious they were going the same direction.
"Can't you go someplace else?" he muttered as he pushed his hands into his pockets and headed into the rec room. It was all he said - even though Sam was with Tim, he still knew Pam, who he spotted almost immediately, didn't really like him fighting with him.

Desmond talked to him about art stuff once in a while back home, but Gideon really didn't have much to say about it besides it was nice to look at. Jules was always way fucking better at knowing what to say than he ever was.
