Walking in winter wonderland
Quatre loved the snow. Before last year on the island he'd had little enough experience with it--there was no climate in the space colonies to generate it, and his time on earth had been spent mostly in the desert. So now that the weather had turned, he had bundled up in as many layers as he could and gone out to spend as much time in it as possible.
Dressed in a thick brown coat with a striped hat pulled down around his ears, he's started by making a snowman, and then another, though it's far from matching Duo's Snow Minion Army of last year.
Whistling, he left them behind and marched cheerfully through the trees, pausing when he reaches the little bridge over the creek. The normally rushing water was frozen, and he leaned on the railing, looking down at the ripples in the ice made by the currents beneath it.
