It's just been a really fucking weird day. After two failed runs at the Council, Geoffrey hadn't really had any expectation that this time would be any different. He hadn't even checked this time, and eventually had to be told that he'd actually been elected. And sure, Geoffrey'd made a real effort and figured he had something to say, but he still hadn't expected it.
In a place where Geoffrey has been turned into a woman, turned into a teenager, and is currently directing a musical, it's one of the weirdest things that has ever happened to him.
But right now, his more pressing concern is dinner. Bread, tomatoes, cheese... at least Geoffrey is competent to make himself a sandwich and doesn't have to actually cook anything when his mind is someplace else entirely. As he ransacks the fridge and the cupboards for something to eat, he wonders if the people voting for him realised they'd getting two for the price of one. And then right there in the middle of slapping some butter on his bread Geoffrey can't help bursting out laughing.
