Angua and Sally had been put in the same bedroom. Angua tried to feel good about that. The woman wasn't to know. Anyway, it was nice to get between clean sheets, even if the room had a slightly musty smell. More must, less vampire, she thought; look on the bright side.

Things that Bennet did not expect when returning from his morning walk were many. People in his bed just happened to be one of them. Some part of him sighed with relief that it wasn't any number of people who might have it out for him. "Lost?" he inquired politely, closing the door firmly behind him.
