Lucy had always been an explorer. She'd been called a tomboy by a visiting prince once, and while Lucy had laughed, in some ways it was true. Pearl had heard about the trampoline recently as well, and had finally wandered over to go see it. What she found was the girl she had met a few days ago on it already, looking like she was having lots of fun.

She stood aside and watched as she jumped, not sure if she ought to interrupt.

Pearl listened with rapt attention, trying to imagine what Pearl guessed was her friend. She believed all of it; after all, she had met unicorns on the island, so why not a lion as special as the ones she was speaking about?

"Did he have a name?" she asked, curiously.

She nodded, appreciative of someone who wanted to listen to what she had to tell. "Aslan. He really was wonderful. Is wonderful." She refused to believe that Aslan couldn't reach them here.

She nodded her head. "He sounds it. Do you think I'll get to meet him someday?"

She did love the lion at the circus, even though his owner was very strange.

"Maybe. Hopefully. I think he about him coming here sometimes." Lucy thought about it a lot, especially at night when she should be sleeping.
