It was gorgeous outside. Too much so to stay in, and that was why Cuddy was by the waterfall. The idea had been an impulsive one, and there had really been no reason to not act on it. She'd left immediately after changing, picking up a book from the shelf in the rec room and tying her hair back on the way. Of course Tristam Shandy wasn't exactly light, summertime reading but Cuddy wasn't in the mood to care. She'd read it before, the result of a college literature requirement, and it wasn't one of those novels she minded having to read again. At least the bookshelf hadn't given her the History of the Bullet or the Anatomy of a Tank. It could be worse. Much, much worse.

She settled in and opened the book, beginning to read. It was a good way to spend the afternoon and evening, and after awhile she reached back to pull the tie out of her hair. No point in being professional every single moment, including when she was taking a bit of time for herself.

[ She's been so noisy all week, so it's time to satiate her! For Jack, Tony, Abby, and Maureen (who all have things to talk to her about) and anyone/everyone of course because she's friendly. ST and lateness welcome! Catch her anywhere from the rec room to the falls. ]
