Anya woke up in a good mood, no doubt helped by the nice weather. It seemed she was finally getting settled into island life and was especially trying to make the best of things. She had a feeling the place was just one more step on her journey to figuring things out, even if it didn't seem like that at the moment

McKay was in a mood for food. Which was pretty much how he was all the time, but today, there was the smell of it and he saw donuts! He immediately went for them, yanking them up and barely noticing the girl or the dog.

"Tell me if they came out okay," she requested, watching the man grab at the food. She hoped he'd still be enthusiastic about eating once he gave it a try.

McKay glanced over, mouth full of donut and he mumbled through the crumbs. "They're good. They're good with the donut...ness."
