Edward had pretty much given up on getting any response to his bulletin board notice. Raif had offered to scrounge up an extra bow, arrows, and some spears, and Edward had declared that Good Enough. As such, he saw no reason to leave his note on the board. It was just as he was going to remove it (or see if perhaps someone else hadn't taken the liberty of doing it already) that he saw Winry tacking a piece of paper to the board.

"Hey. What're you putting up?" he asked, peering around her to read the notice. He mummbled to himself as he read it over.
