Chuck wasn't exactly a genius, but he wasn't completely hopeless either -- he'd considered moping on the beach, as he thought it was kind of a good look for him, but a few moments outside had given him enough reason to decide against it.
"Fucking weather," he muttered sullenly, stuck in the rec room yet again to try and find something half-decent to read. He could hold out for it clearing up later, and maybe beachgoing would still be an option. Or else he could just stand around and look windblown, that was always a little sexy.
At least Chuck had something to keep him occupied in the meantime. He'd been mulling over his talk with Jim since the other day, and when the bookshelf finally coughed up One Minute Apologies: Powerful Ways to Make Things Better he took it and went to curl up to read.
Anything that could be accomplished in a minute or less, particularly relating to making Geoffrey not be mad at him, was probably a good thing to look into at this point.
[OOC: Open to anyone; I'm slowtimey 'til the afternoon, but wanted to get this up before work stole my soul. :x]
[Summary: (Ongoing.) Chuck discovers a quick and easy method for making people feel better, and discovers it isn't all that useful after all. He finally makes up with Geoffrey Jellineck and they schmoop it up with no great subtlety, and Chuck and Alan Shore discuss the jukebox, the bookshelf, and the dickery of both.]
