OSX86

As my Mac Mini is notoriously slow for print quality photoshop files and anything that takes processing power, I decided to try out putting osx86 on my amd64 PC (I *hate* using Adobe CS in XP).

Has anyone done this (outside of booting in in VMWare with a flat image) with a DVD iso of Tiger?

because photoshop isn't universal yet, it'll have to run through rosetta thusly it'll probably be just as slow.

When your doing print designing at 150 dpi at 100% size will keep your quality good and file size down. for most local printers 300 dpi @ size is overkill.

yeah but in general i bet his 64 bit computer runs better than the mac mini so there will be a difference, just in ram alone

I use Adobe CS under XP. Works fine for me.
