Muraki moved his scalpel over the Chiropteran's chest, a finger following it, moving delicately over the flesh. For them, this was not odd in the slightest. It was something that they could only really get from each other. Muraki had someone who was willing to allow him to cut into the flesh, open the skin, and examine the body. Charles had someone who gave him the attention he so desired -- something that reminded him of home. As Muraki worked, those violet eyes would stare at him occasionally, behind the dark bangs. Muraki's silver eyes would occasionally glance over at Charles, but he kept his concentration on the work before him, not once deciding to allow distraction. He waited, after several moments, the wounds he had cut would start to close up. Not only was this satisfying, but it was also very convenient.
