okay, so this is the epic life-update post you've all been waiting with bated breath for. or something. I'm sure. in list form! because we all know how I love lists.

Ooh, the idea of writing a YA novel for a thesis is aaawesome. Definitely interested in being a part of all that.

Ahah. I'm just starting college in the fall. I did five months of art school in 09, and I AM SO STOKED TO BE GOING BACK FINALLYYY.

And omigosh, congrats on heading back! That's so beyond awesome! Thank god I have another year left, I'm not quite ready to leave, I like it here too much. :D (Also, they don't yet expect me to be a fully functioning human being yet, which is really quite nice. If I graduate, that might change, creys.)

2. I just told them 'Look, I want to write fiction and not theory so just god damn let me!' and they did. So...say that? haha. It's easy enough to convince them, they can see if it's where your passion is and I KNOW that's where it is. Will you have to do a reflection part of it as well? For mine I had to do a part where I reflected on what I wrote and had to sort of analyse what already existed and how that influenced me (or didn't) etc... so you could compromise with them by saying you'll do like a 2000 word report?

ALSO! Recommend me some GOOD YA fiction. I'm so behind on reading. All I do is watch films and read scripts. I miss YA fiction so much but so much crap exists that I don't know what to pick.
