I especially agree that we should not walk past each other. I think that often the impoverished set their eyes on wealth and abundance and in their attempt to free themselves from poverty, end up in the bonds of materialism and vanity. Likewise, if we, the wealthy sell our possessions in an attempt to redeem ourselves from our upperclass circumstance and disprove our materialism, we often end up refusing the blessings and gifts of the Lord, and risk insulting the poor for wanting to ascend.

i'm still trying to figure out if accepting a 13-passenger escalade limo for your wedding should be a "blessing" worthy of refusal :P
