[Bruce has had a lot on his mind for the past few weeks. Meeting his replacement and future sidekicks can do that to a guy. Not to mention, he's feeling pretty homesick. He misses Alfred and Gotham and being the Batman

[Max hasn't been sleeping all that much, and when she does sleep, it doesn't last terribly long. Blame it on nightmares and memories of her death. She'd stay inside, but sitting in an small pod for so long gets fairly old after a while, and the fresh air will probably do her some good.

Besides, she isn't anywhere near the fog, and there aren't any killer rodents around. So, as far as Max is concerned, all is well. ...Er. Sort of.]

[Bruce spots Max and he moves closer to the edge of the roof he's on. Once she realizes he's there, he'll hop down.]

You're up late.

[The Batman voice comes automatically when he's in costume.]

[Max glances up as she hears Bruce's voice. She's not all that surprised - Bruce or Terry, they're both Batman. It'd be expected for either or both of them to go patrolling at some point during the night.]

Yeah, well, recent events have kind of ruined my sleeping schedule.

[And true to his unspoken word, Bruce gets ground level and stands straight, cape hiding his frame.]

You think it's safe to be out here alone?

[He doesn't know how Terry's been on your case, Max. So you'll have to forgive his concern.]
