A crimson eye twitched in barely restrained anger as the young chimera stared in disgust and disbelief at the recently published Science Journal. It was her design they were hailing as a stroke of genius, her idea they were applauding, but it was not her name they were crediting

Because Myaxx is just that epic.
It made me think of the scene from the movie, The Phantom, where Xander Drax also reaps revenge via microscope.
Except Myaxx makes this 100x cooler.
Also, I like that this shows that yes, she too can be brutal.

Myaxx is indeed epic! This scene has been playing in my head for months now but I've only managed to write it out last night @ 3@

I like to imagine that when she was younger like years and years before she started to work for Azmuth, she hasn't learned that brute force doesn't always get you what you want. And that sometimes the best way to deal with something is to just walk away, get them to lower their guard, and then use brute force when they least expect it XD But this scene pretty much shows she already had the groundwork for the "get them to lower their guard" part.

I am glad the idea made it to fic form :)

She just needs some experience to teach her to wait. She is still a youngster and probably hasn't learned to properly plot yet.

For serious, the entire time I was reading this, I was reminded of this lecturer of mine who was doing a project with a group and getting his students inducted in the aim of the experiments. During that meeting, he was telling us about a bunch of American researchers doing similar projects and one of them in particular he met personally. Apparently they got to talking in the elevator once. One of the ideas my lecturer proposed eventually appeared on the paper of this American researcher and he looked through the references and his name was not on it. He was like "That bastard!" while we all just laughed.

Myaxx's actions in this fic after getting her credit taken from something as massive as a design concept is like the much more hardcore response and I applaud her. She's so super special awesome badass WIN. I'm just literally flailing my arms right now to show how excited I am about this fic. <3
