Doldrums

I am unemployed.  I don't like saying that because it makes me sound like some kind of bum, but now that I think about it, I am some kind of bum so I guess I deserve it.  At 24, I'm living in my parents' house, I have no friends, haven't dated in several years, and am a waste of precious organs and blood that could go to keeping some functioning ( Read more... )

Point Rachel. YES, the audition for the Storybook Theatre, which sounds like it's right up my alley I hope I hope? It will be held at some as of yet undetermined future date. May all my legs be broken!
However, it's still only part-time. So... You know.

SECONDLY, you know as well as I do that things always look bleakest when you're not yourself. God will point you in the right direction, but perhaps right now he's saying "rest a bit - I've got you up for something amazing later". Read Prov 12:9, 11 and 13:1, 12. My dear AnJa, God has a plan for you, but don't worry about hopes and dreams and geting your knickers in a twist about not fulfilling crap. Just be dilligent in whatever you are doing just now and God will rewards you for it. But remember, his reward often doesn't seem to be what we expect or hope for, nor does he usually bring things about as we'd expect. He often makes things apparent later.
