A Quickie, But A Goodie

There is still more to write about the cruise of course, but I just have to share.

I feel good!

Amber moved into her own place while we were in Mexico and warned me to be prepared to see Le Monde with less stuph.

When we got home though, it was like everything was .... right.  And there was so much room!

After unpacking I moved the living room couch ( Read more... )

*smile* I really do feel good inside right now.

Hey, how did your interview go? If you need a place to stay temporarily I am thinking about renting out the master bedroom. I really like the feel in the other room so don't plan on moving back over and I may have to get someone in there depending on what we find out from our lender...

You sound so much...happier isn't quite the word. Less burdened seems more appropriate. Like you've let out a huge breath you've been holding in for the last few weeks.

I'm glad to hear things are looking up. I'm thrilled that Amber left, that you might be able to keep your house, that Chloe is doing well, that you'll be getting a dog, and that you'll be starting school. ALL good things!!

I hope to hear from you soon. I miss you!

Hey S - what's been cookin?!?!?!!!

We ate like pigs on the ship but I missed COOKING! I hadn't cooked (or even ate) in weeks due to everything going on. I have to learn to cut back a little on portion size now but Bird and I are eating good at home again. And less burdened is perfect. I just know I am doing much much MUCH better. :)

It feels like there is so much to do, but it makes me actually excited. I was telling a gf on the phone the other night that I got so ... complacent.

The other thing is I am having to take care of everything on my own. This makes me feel like I am actually living instead of just depending. I know I never want to be that dependent on anyone again -- because it just doesn't make me feel good and really isn't fair to the person you are depending on either.

How is SP? I miss you too! I must catch up on your cooking!

HUGS!

I'm glad to hear you're cooking again! That's a big step. :) I am so relieved to hear "you" again. :)

It sounds like you've turned a corner with all this. Looking ahead in your life, taking care of things on your own - it will all make you stronger in the end. I'm so proud of you!

SP is OK. Things at home are basically status quo. Not much to report, unfortunately.

I have been saying.... sirenscry March 28 2008, 01:20:19 UTC
...that I really miss petting some kitties. Or at least looking at some. Hope to do that at some point when I visit, I am just not ready to own one myself right now.
Gosh it will be nice to have it be OK to come over. I am not going to know how to act.
