It's a very good thing indeed that i had a belly 1/2-full of gnocchi and tea by the time i tuned into their conversation. Thirty minutes earlier, when i was still in my OMG MUST SIT DOWN AND EAT NOW delirium/rage, and things might have gotten messy.

Yeah. That is as boggling as promised. Though I suppose in some respect, it's good to know that this kind of thinking is not exclusive to USians.

Also, a city making a change like that is totally the same as a pub changing its name.

Further, now I want to go to the pub. But I guess I'd better get down to being industrious first, eh? (Also, it's 9a.)
