So it turns out i was better off on centrelink than working. Minus sales i'm spending more and earning less, and things were tight as it was ( Read more... )

:( you are, as I've said, a real and true trooper for taking a job you KNEW was going to be 1) difficult and 2) pay poorly sans commission. I am hoping that the "pounding of the pavement" will only open you to other, better opportunities. I hate that it actually pays less than temp. work. / unemployment. And, I can always stay on one of your friends' couches. I'm happy to pay "couch rent." <3

Yeah, i think i'll skip being 24 and wait until i'm 25 and have people who care. 23 was a Halloween party (entirely Caras work friends), 22 was no-shows, and 21 paid off better in perspective and life experience.

I'll get a pet when i can afford the food bill for two. Right now a guinea pig or rabbit would be perfect for ratio of hugs to attention needed, but i'd also consider a labrador.
