If you had the choice...

If you were given the choice between faith and eternal hell, which would you choose?

Hey! I set out to read the Bible by the end of the summer. After two nights, I gave up and started reading Arcana Coelestia. (I keep forgetting whose journal this is! It's so. Stupid. I've asked you before, right? I think I shall have to write it down if you tell me again - I'm really sorry. I don't know what's wrong with my brianthing.)

I ask now since I'm not sure whether or not you'd be familiar with the Arcana. It makes sense of everything in the Old Testment. Sheds a lot of light on (what I know of) the New Testment, too - although it doesn't dissect the NT. I'm having trouble putting it down. Reading about 40 pages a night and it makes a difference!

It's Genai. Don't worry, I'm not sure I ever told you... So yeah I know about the Arcana - but I'm working my way through major world religions (theoretically) - Swedenborgianism will have to wait its turn (if I ever get there -- I'm looking for an understanding of a majority, not for a religion for myself). But that's cool that you're getting so much from it.
