Okay - can I just say *wow*. Your first attempt in this fandom? Now I'm all jealous. I don't think I could write like this after multiple attempts.

I think your Bright was dead-on and picked up on a lot of character traits that many fandom writers skip over, so kudos to you. Ephram was also nicely characterised.

Extra kudos for style and repitition.

Now, *patiently sits back and waits for more EW fics*

I write all the time ... just not in this fandom. But I was nervous about getting this right.

The second part will be easier now that I know I'm getting the voices right.

Wow ... this is brilliant. Seriously. All these POVs and all of them so ... fine.

Even Amy, whom I've always pictured not knowing (or at least not letting herself get close enough to know), is totally in character here ... to use her favorite word, "complicated" ... and human. And you nailed the Abbott family role-playing!

This is also one of the most fully realized pictures I've seen of pre-psycho Colin ... and maybe Colin in the lucid moments between outbursts. It ties together so many of his contradictions in a way that makes his paranoia (or at least the underlying insecurity) so understandable.

And Ephram's totally in character too ... putting up his defenses, then letting them down and seeing things he'd never expected, in Bright and in Colin. Whatever happens to Colin in this "timeline" the seeds have been sown either way (and they're even consistent with Season 2 before it was hijacked by Madison).

Beautiful. I'm looking forward to wherever this goes.
